Joe joined Shorebridge Wealth Management in October 2022 as Managing Director. He works with ultra-high net worth individuals and families with their overall comprehensive financial planning. Joe’s expertise focuses on estate, gift, and income tax planning strategies, as well complex estate planning and generational wealth transfer. Joe also works with business owner clients, which he consults on risk mitigation strategies and succession planning.

Prior to starting at Shorebridge, Joe spent 6 years as a Director of Planning at a boutique wealth management firm in Pittsburgh. Preceding that, he gained industry tax expertise at PwC in their Wealth Management Tax Services group for 9 years. Additionally, Joe worked as an accountant at both Alpern Rosenthal (currently BDO) and PNC Bank after beginning his career as a Financial Services Representative with First Investors Corporation.

Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Duquesne University, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional. He has also received an Advanced Accounting Certificate through Duquesne University’s School of Leadership and Professional Advancement program. Joe is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Joe and his wife, Brittany, live in Valencia, PA with their three children Joey, Madelyn and Leah. He spends most of his spare time with friends and family. Joe also enjoys golfing whenever time allows in between their children’s activities.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization's initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
