Mark Summers specializes in the development and implementation of comprehensive wealth management strategies for individuals and families nationwide. He also provides retirement plan consulting for small businesses. Prior to joining Shorebridge in January 2018, Mark completed Merrill Lynch’s Practice Management Development program.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Ohio State University and an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Duquesne University’s Palumbo-Donahue School of Business. Mark has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ (AAMS®) designation through the College for Financial Planning. He maintains Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as life, accident, and health insurance licenses. He is a graduate of the Raymond James Advisor Mastery Program and is currently pursuing the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation.
Mark is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Pittsburgh and the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh. He is actively involved with The Children’s Trust, an initiative supporting UPMC Children’s Hospital’s most promising pediatric research. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mark enjoys playing basketball and is an avid golfer.
